no body could have thought deion was choosing usf over a big time school

I don't think of Colorado as a big time school.  I guess they are now.

I think it’s because now whoever we get we’re going to take a massive hit in recruiting. You always do when you get a new coach unless it’s somebody like Deion Sanders. Our wide receivers and heck even our kicker have all transferred out. So now you take what was a good offense and now you have nobody to throw the ball to. You have recruiting that’s gonna take a massive hit. I just don’t see how we’re going to be OK short term. It is going to be a slow rebuild

Even a slow rebuild will be better than losing all FBS games.  Honestly, we have been so far in the toilet the past 3 years that we are conditioned to believe we can’t win.  I agree with you that it will be a slow rebuild, but I also believe that we will start winning games again.

Agreed I’m just saying the difference is that means it will be very slow for some fans to come back.

That’s probably true, and it will suck.  Parking will be easy again next year.

Better conference, better competition, opportunity to become a better school, opportunity to prove people he can build a team again, opportunity to upset big schools. It’s all about the opportunity for the future. Screw the new American conference, the role would be more attractive if we had the departing teams.

a few years we were upset because were were stuck in a conference with Houston and UCF. I guarantee WV is not happy about them coming into their conference right now.

Get the right people, and things cab change quickly.

What if Deion is all hype and can’t beat top 25 teams?

This is definitely a major question mark. We know his recruiting was off the wall and his talent level was far superior to anyone he played. Now he has to prove it against equal competition.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
