Does anyone still believe that the super secret secondary contract wasn’t impacted positively by the extension since it was resigned in January of this year? Why would anybody accept a negotiation down of guaranteed money while sitting on three wins to their name? CJS definitely got more money for no apparent reason other than VPMK doing VPMK like things.

Every squirrel finds a nut?

Or they just keep asking the other squirrels to nut up while they continue to get fat off of their contributions with no real motivation to ever learn to hunt nuts well, either way.

Idk the former soccer poster from here went on some long rant the other day about Doug’s payout and how it took years for someone to slip up and have it in an email that found it’s way into a sunshine request. The fun thing about sunshine is it sometimes takes longer than we would like but eventually it will rise and things do come to light.

And when/if it does this will be a great conversation to continue .... okay, maybe not great, but a conversation nonetheless.

We'll see, but my $0.25 is on the side of it being an extension in years only as the symbolic backing from the AD (considering the COVID year and hype), nothing more, nothing less.  There was absolutely no reason to do anything more.

WE can only hope MK is that smart. His evaluation for coaching and giving out extensions is not looking good for the two sports that bring in money if you produce.

The reason to freak out is because the guy that has systematically destroyed both programs for 4 years is about to ensure his reign of terror continues for three more years at the very least.

That is also possible.

There is just no way that’s true. If you have a billion dollar contract with $1 guaranteed dollar you have a $1 contract. We know for a fact that the secondary contract was amended with the change in the new contract and we also know that most of any buyout money in the state of florida exists there. CJS knew he wasn’t doing great here and if someone wants to make your buyout more favorable to them at a time when you haven’t started to be successful that’s a giant red flag to refuse the contract and wait for your pay day they seem to already be planning. Is it really unfathomable to you that someone who made what was universally panned as a horrible idea and is getting peppered with with questions about failure would be willing to do something financially significant to take the heat off of themselves when they know the proof of the degree to which they have failed is likely not to see the light of day?

There is definitely a way that it is true. You may not want to believe it, as a "glass fully empty" type. There are many reasons not to make it public, including avoiding deterrence of future interest.

Explain to me like I’m a small child why someone, their agent and their lawyers would allowed them to sign two renegotiated contract that is in every single way bad for them and costs them money for absolutely nothing in return. It just can’t happen, it makes no sense and you only pretend to think it’s imaginable because it allows you to pretend to accept a fairytale about people you like but deep down know are completely and utterly incompetent at their jobs just like you had to do about CJS until he all but came out and said I have no idea what I am doing and I don’t know how to demonstrate it to you any more clearly and consistently. If you did your job like VPMK did his job you would be uninsurable or in jail. There is only so many times in life you get to keep cutting the wrong leg off before people start to question if maybe you are the problem. You can be friends with people, have dinner with them, have drinks with them and like them as people but that doesn’t mean you want to give them money and continue to support their failures. You liked CJS, you had faith in him, you enjoyed your dinners but he still sucks, VPMK has been here longer and has only consistently failed harder. There is absolutely no reason to have any faith in him doing anything well since he has universally demonstrated failure and has done so longer than CJS.
