I don't claim to be any football guru but sometimes I don't get decisions which seem so obviously wrong in the situation.  And as a USF/FSU grad I get the double dose of Scott and Norvell to brighten my college football Saturdays.

At least Norvell can beat bad teams and mediocre teams.

Perhaps, though I think he has a lot more to work with and his play calling and game management, particularly at the end of games, has been a head scratcher to be kind.  Last night's last offensive play was completely fubar.

I would take him over CJS all day every day.

What he did at Memphis looks like heaven compared to CJS's time at USF. He could win games in the american. He put players in the pros and had long term success. Memphis was in better shape then when he inherited it.

Amazing isn’t it? Yes, I know it was an RPO, but the amount of times we run the ball up the middle every game and we don’t do it the time we should? The irony. These guys can’t help but shoot themselves in the foot over and over.

Maybe we could hand it off to Leonard Fournette for that 1 easy yard. Oops. Wish you guys would stop with the "it was a done deal to just get a yard up the middle" stuff.

And then he scored on a 1 yard swing pass later in the game ......

We've been discussing the 4th and 1 that everyone is saying we should have run the ball up the middle. We essentially threw a swing pass that didn't work either.

Yeah, I know ... point I was making is that later in the game the Bucs went to the same type of swing pass and it worked for them.
