If that’s the case we need a new coaching staff. You can’t pick and choose which games you’re going to coach and play in. They should come prepared every single game. That’s their job. If that’s their actual plan, then they need to give that portion of their salary back to the school. 
 

Edit - That would also mean, the coaches are confident their crap performance won’t get them canned.

Are they allowed to do that? I get that’s our hiring philosophy for coaches, but is that a good strategy for winning games?

The receivers aren't open.  What do you want them to do?  They flat out aren't open.  Weaver and Horn are not playing and Dollison is dropping everything in sight.  The rest of the receivers are trash.
