I think your assessment is correct.  I remember going on a road trip like this to Navy and taking people and the game was over by halftime.  The vibe in the crowd was definitely let's fire this guy.

Just got to sit down and turn on the game. Looks like it may not of been the best decision to give Jeff Scott an extension.

He made a great decision to leave, we would be blaming him for sucking instead. He made a bad choice for what school he went to but good choice leaving.
