Frost and Taggart both had success with G5 programs in Florida and both chased the $$$ to the P5 and both face planted.  I wonder why some of these guys aren’t content making a couple of million a year and winning games in the G5.  I guess they all have egos big enough to think they’ll win a natty.  Realistically Frost nor Taggart were never going to win a natty.

Are there enough Iron Bulls that care enough about football that might force MK to change his tune about stability?

Nope.

I'll take Frost.  Nebraska doesn't attract the type of guys he needs, while he can excel at USF given the competition level.

I thought the same thing when we brought C. Strong onboard.

I guess now with the 12 team playoff coming up we really can’t talk about g5 or p5 anymore. Sunbelt conference this year would probably get that 6th playoff spot. We need a coaching staff that can win at all levels.

Well... Strong just didn't care. He thought he would be at USF for one season an then get the call back to "the show"

The Sun Belt had a fun day this week... but none of them are ranked after that.  AP on left, Coaches on right.

Hopefully USF learned from the Charlie Strong experiment and stay away from Frost lol

USF's problem wasn't Charlie Strong per say, it was that everytime we get a new coach, we change the system. The schemes on offensive & defense, the "culture", etc. What has made teams like UCF successful is that they don't turn their program upside down everytime they hire a new coach. With that said, Charlie was a terrible coach.

Frost now has the same stink Charlie Strong had after failing at Texas. Just say ‘no’ to rethread coaches.

Also “we already have a coaching staff.”

lol hopefully not for long.

I wonder if UCF will be pushing to rehire him.

We can't win with calling coaches up from smaller programs either (Taggart being the exception).

Someone that went 12-0 and turned UCF around from a winless season isn't a bad option right now.
