Haven't gotten to the paper yet today. Did it mention a tie to USF?  The age makes it seem unlikely but, then, I don't remember when he graduated.

The age makes it likely, he was here 6 years

If he was here 6 years then he graduated at 24 or 25. Doesn't it take a while to become a cop?

People are trafficked to fill a market need that is having the supply artificially suppressed, criminals therefore meet the market need by any means necessary. People that have licensing and are regulated are more likely to make sure that they have legal employees than those that  laugh in the face of regulation and laws. How much human trafficking is going on at the Bunny Ranch?

So you now understand it is not a victimless crime.

It creates victims by being a crime

Strip clubs and legal cat houses somehow seem to be able to meet market demand without having to traffic humans and force people into service. When only criminals are filling the market needs one can’t be shocked that they resort to criminal means. The only way to stop an illegal prostitute with a John is with a legal prostitute with a John and while genuine businesses do not always operate in the most legal or safest manner they certainly do so more frequently than the black market which has freed itself from the constraints of big brother.

I agree on PUC with this one 100% @E.T, Personally I feel that prostitution (and Marijuana 😎) should be legal and regulated. It is a victimless crime if the woman (or man) chooses to sell their body of their own free will. I think prostitution being illegal contributes greatly to the problem of sex trafficking. Same goes for weed. If you want to send a f-you to the cartels in Mexico, then legalize weed. I'm not onboard for legalizing coke, meth or heroin though.

If . . . I am saying that WHEN the person is forced - they are the victim.
