These were my favorites too. I was talking with a friend from here in Michigan, and he asked “what happened to your mustard gold helmets? They were the best!” It’s sad because we had distinct jerseys and helmets, I feel that we had an identity and we don’t anymore. Nike has a quality brand and I feel that Adidas has horrible design and cheapens the USF brand.

Anyone know how much time is left on the Adidas contract? Their gear has been abysmal at best.

Good question. I suspect Under Armour will never come back due to their financial difficlties and sheeding so many CFB programs. Nike would most likely be the best alternative left. But somehow I think we are in for the long term with Adidas.
