We've NEVER succeeded with a QB who couldn't pull it down and make plays with his legs or escape from the pocket. That alone gives McClain the nod.

Qb carosouel  is a quick way to throw away another season.  It is time this co-oc deemed an offensive mastermind from Clemson devolop or find a qb. We need our guy by week 4 or this is another lost season under cjs. We can't afford to have a revolving door around qbs for another season.  Let's hope cjs learns how to develop a qb on thr fly and find an offense that works under trickett that hasn't called plays in a few years either.

Amen and let’s not get our panties in a wad I believe this is all part of the strategy of giving BYU nothing to prepare for.  You can’t measure a talented dual threat in a spring game when you clip his wings.  Timmy will be our starter and will be for most of 2022 unless injured.

Screwing at USF? He was the face of the team in all media and pre season hype. We’ve seen this before…before…. Like a bad dream. Need another QF dare I say there is another QF. Cade had his moment and whiffed dunno why but whiffed.

Disagree, we need another Matt Floyd, he got screwed, guy was awesome.

Marsh has a hell of an arm and sweet spiral but can't read a defense to save his life. He can throw it a 100mph 80 yds down the field but he also has a "F it, here it goes" type attitude and that could cost you a lot of games ala ECU.

Both Marsh or McClain may not be the long-term answer. Flower's protection of the ball is what made him elite here IMO.

Yes, yes and yes. However, tough for a QB in early games to show what he has when the O line was like a sieve.
