Yeah I know who I'm dealing with.  I enjoy his unbridled rage most of the time, but I just want the chance to counter it in case anyone else starts to be convinced that we just need to "win" or that the current coach or AD are the reason we sucked for over a decade when they weren't here.

We really really reallllllly need everyone to buy into the fact that facilities upgrades are necessary when the fundraising starts or else it won't succeed.  And without those upgrades to make us attractive to recruits and the Big12, we'll be stuck spending the next 15 years still pining for Leavitt and the good ole days instead of winning meaningful games with top talent.

Not sure anyone can disagree with this, I guess we all hoped we could walk and chew gum at the same time and unfortunately we are not able to, causing the rub.  Oh well, nothing we can do about the past and the future is 6 mos out so lets all carryon beating the dead horse.

Or allow some positive vibes to permeate the darkness.

Man if optimism doesn't return to your life (speaking to all) as we approach spring football, you really should leave USF Athletics.  It just is not good for you.  You need a respite from the pain and agony.  I'm serious.  I had to change.  We all have reasons to be frustrated or angry, but that isn't going to make one iota of difference (unless you're funding the OCS).  You're better changing your mindset or simply saying "Adios Toros".

In everyone’s defense we are officially in the lowest point of our history if you mainly follow FB and MBB.  Coupled with missing out on the recent P5 shakeup. I actually believe the board is quite civil considering the state of our programs.  I am not sure I will ever make a conscious decision to stop following our teams, will probably simply fade away instead, hopefully it doesn’t come to that.

Adding on to Frisco’s point, I’m watching the NIT and The basketball program that USF spits out is at a level of embarrassment that cannot extend another day. We are USF BULLS people. And we demand more and deserve more. Hell let’s forget Mike let’s start writing to Will. He needs votes. I want an AD that is willing to turn the screws and apply pressure , Mike isn’t him… unfortunately cause I wanted him to succeed here at USF.

He is the walking embodiment of participation trophies , juice boxes and little Debbie snacks for getting blown out. We need grit and tenacity and nothing about VPMK speaks to any of that. He is softer than cottenelle  ultra gentle care and when you get called to his office for what you would naturally assume will be your just desserts for your failure he hands you an unearned contract extension instead. There is a direct sloping line down since the moment he stepped on campus and I find it almost impossible that he isn’t universally hated by every member of our fanbase, I get why every other fanbase likes him, he sucks.

When we lose I no longer get angry and that makes me more angry than the most painful of losses, I guess it’s better to burnout than to fade away and we’ve done a rather amazing job of blowing it up almost surgically. I would almost think it was methodical but then I remember the way I feel about government and you can’t think someone is an idiot while at the same time be convinced they are some kind of mastermind. VPMK just isn’t good at his job and as such doesn’t hire good people to do their jobs. He should be fired immediately, no one has earned it more. He has been weighed and measured and his results have been found wanting.

It’s my experience in life that people that fail with a budget of x also fail with a budget of 10x. There is a reason why lottery winners so often end up broke and it’s because more money doesn’t improve your decision making prowess. I would just as soon set $10k on fire just for the fun of watching it burn than give it to VPMK’s regime of perpetual failure that only returns embarrassment and sadness.

It's all because of the Indian burial ground. We need to move the University and do some spiritual dances or we will never be successful. I'm thinking we invade that school to the East, take it over, demolish it, and rebuild. We solve 2 problems. :1396_metal_tone2:

Totally agree with the relocation of the University for the reason stated, even though for me it would be a huge inconvenience. However, if we're going to invade another school I'd do FGCU, actually located in south Florida. Even after demolishing the school in Oviedo I'm not sure any amount of decontaminating would make it habitable for most of our lifetimes ........... plus, they're like roaches that would just pop up somewhere else anyway.

Why pick one?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
