Come on USF get your spit together. 2022 is the year of no more excuses for USF athletics. 4

Lots of money down there, they have a new FBB stadium, new BB stadium and money flows like water down there, they gots fat stacks and we don’t. A better comparison is Houston or c, either way, enough is enough let’s get somewhat relevant again.

Agree 100 percent. I don’t want to hear Jeffy bringing out the “two new coordinators” excuse in 2022 because that is not going to fly in year 3. Get it done. 1

They made a commitment to athletics a while back and It’s paying dividends. If Rice makes the same type of commitment you could see them make the same types of gains. There are lots of examples of programs that make a commitment and see the results. Time for USF to be one of those programs.

In order to do that we need a president that is committed, hell we simply need a president.

We have student athletes 'round here. That is how Leavitt was able to achieve success... taking players who were marginal students ... but things have changed.... the NCAA requires better high school grades these days (hence why some players head to JuCo)... and he APR penalties can be harsh. USF was on the verge of losing scholarships in Leavitt's last couple of years, when the university created an academic committee that had to approve any scholarship OFFER .... the committee was held over during the Holtz New Era, and was at least part of the challenge for Holtz (on top of his overall lack of, you know, actually recruiting instead of golfing). Baylor doesn't have marginal players either... they just have more resources. For example, the Baylor University endowment is $1.85 billion -- THREE TIMES what USF has. 2
