Bohanon has to be the starter at this point, but Marsh shouldn't be ahead of McClain.  I would imagine half those QB's will be gone by fall camp either way.  I think we would be more than fine with Bohanon, McClain, Brown and one of the walk-ons.

CWill was so much better than the guys trying to fill in when he was injured. Have to imagine Will Jones would have been considerably better than Matt Hill. Having both of them this past year may have made a big difference in the BYU and Tulsa games where the defense couldn't get a stop when thats all we needed to win.

I think the big difference this year will be actual depth at most positions, 1 or 2 injuries won't make games dependent on true freshman and walk ons

It would be good for Timmy, Gunnar and Byrum to RS ... help them develop.

Marsh already burned his RS.

Bohanon may be gone after this season.

The funniest part about this video is that he has that "I'm trying to be calm and humble" look on his face, but is holding in all of his trash talking and celebrating internally. lol That was an awesome play! Pretty much the best play a CB can make.

DBs all look good when there's a pass rush. That's where we need a change in order to make a serious step forward.

Yes it all starts at the line to fix the defense and being more aggressive.  I think we have some good athletes in the secondary but even the best can only cover for so long.

You basically have to expect any non freshman QB that doesn't win the starting job to transfer.  If Bohanon is the starter, I would expect McClain and Marsh to leave.  That is just how things seem to work now.

It would surprise me . . . the three I mentioned to RS will benefit from a year learning more and they can battle and decide then. Marsh tried the portal . . . we'll see.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
