6'6" 245lbs...big target at TE.

Hopefully get one last DT to round out the class.

That gives us our 26th player that has a "pass catching" position. I hope one of these QBs can feed those guys the ball.

His film shows him to be a big, blocking TE. I wouldn't expect much from him in the pass game.

6'7 300 pounds. 2 sacks at Tennessee in 2 years, then 1 at WVU in 1 game last year before leaving the team.

Good enough as a prospect in 2018 that his 247 page has a write up like he'd be a future NFL player.

Quote

One of the top prospects in the JUCO ranks and it’s easy to see why. Jumps off the screen on tape and has a rare combination of size, length, quickness and power. Has a strong, athletic 6-6 frame and looks lean but is all of 285 pounds. Shows the positional versatility to play tackle or end and could fit in any type of scheme. First step quickness is exceptional, can beat a guard or center before they get out of their stance, has the power to toss a lineman aside and the speed to run down plays from behind. Once he gets in to a real college weight program and adds even more strength, his game will rise to another level. If he stays hungry and motivated, there is no reason why he can’t be an instant impact upper tier Power 5 starter and early-mid round NFL draft pick.

Seems like he'd be a HUGE addition to our dline depth

Also got offers from Texas Tech and FSU today. Going to be tough to get him but if we do thats a good sign he'll be an instant impact guy with P5 schools going after a guy with 1 year of eligibility.

Jesus christ, if he can do this against Alabama we should show him Ed Oliver tape and let him know what an elite dlineman can do in this conference. Looking through his twitter it seems like he wants to prove himself at the highest level so I assume he goes P5. But I also thought there was no way we get Gerry so I guess we'll see

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
