I suggest Hill to STAR and move everyone else up in order at SS ... Will Jones II at #1.

No one knows who is where in the backfield , maybe they are holding out to Try get some fame advantage like the heat and humidity versus Wisconsin. If the talent and play on the field doesn't improve the depth chart means nothing. Next man up and  time to attack, attack, attack the quarterback.

Can Hill or Jones lay the thunder? I believe the star is a hybrid safety/line back similar to Simmons that got drafted from Clemson. Ideally like at least 6 foot  and 210ish lbs. Basically an undersized linebacker or NFl safety size like Ed Reed. I think Grief fits the size and skill combo but he is linebacker.

Ready for the official depth chart to answer these questions.

Likely ain't happening.  I'm not sure we had one last season for game one.  More and more schools are delaying that first depth chart.

That's so they won't know who we are rolling out for the double reverse razzle dazzle play 1.

WE got the humidity and no depth chart advantage, We have a lot of returning starters that will get their old job backs and lots of unknowns on the defensive line, defensive backs,  and receivers. I guess we will find out Saturday the depth chart and if there is any major improvement. I hope we get the upset but I don't think it will happen.

Thought the comments from the talking heads about not releasing a depth chart being stupid and silly were stupid and silly. Much ado about nothing. If a coach wants to release one, fine ..... if he doesn't fine, don't see the big deal.

The fake chart was hilarious, though.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
