John Thompson III used a Princeton type offense at Georgetown while he was their head coach. 

Princeton offense is a tough one for most college teams, nothing but cuts, cuts and more cuts. Not much screening. A pattern offense without any screening. That's what I would call it

Do you remember if the announcer was some old guy?  That is like a Larry Brown or Hubie Brown reference.  The Princeton offense had some similarities to the Jack Kraft motion offense at Villanova around that same time.

Nope dont know who said it. Actually the significance it had for me was: when I was a kid there was a haircut called a "Princeton"..As for USF? Looked like more of the same on the court so, the conversation they had relevant to their "mystery" remark held no significance otherwise.  The "beating" thing...I was screwing with you since this was a "non-thing" to begin with.  👌

Yeah it’s hard to understand how he selects his starting five.  I also agree on McCreary.  however, I think dealing with portal shitshows is not something many coaches are prepared for.

How about for a team in a “P6” conference?  We had a lot of non-conference gimmes.
