Agree with that, pump fake and weave at the top of the arc then take a contested shot with 4 sec on shot clock isn't cutting it.  Boggs needs to figure out what he is.  A stand up perimeter shooter???  or work down low get some boards and take his open shot when he gets it.  Coaching needs to define his role better or stop giving him so many minutes

Boggs needs to put on some muscle soon.

Boggs needs a quicker release. Tired of the constant pump fakes. McCreary looked particularly good down low. Seems more active on the boards and on help defense, though he looks like his conditioning can improve.

Bottom line is you can’t expect to have 4 6 to 10 minute FG droughts per game and beat anybody.

Offensive scheme is hot garbage.

Boggs played well last night though and hit a key 3 pointer in crunch time.

Hurts to see it here but would have been much worse in person.

It was pretty painful to experience in person. 🙁

He looked like he finally decided to wake up and do his thing. Maybe that is a sign of good things to come from him. He also seemed to be paying with a hurt left arm? Painful ending but I still enjoyed being there at the Dome to see some Bulls hoops live.

Understood, but also left the open looks in his hands. That’s the offense and he needs to take those shots. He’s more open than he thinks he is.

Let's not kid ourselves.  We would be thrilled with 14-13 at this point.

It’s just a weird position to argue one thing is failure while touting that having the 4th worst all time record of current coaches is somehow success and progress, CBG hasn’t exactly set the world on fire but CJS would kill to be a fraction as successful as him or CCS for that matter

Coaches Hot Seat provides the Coaches Hot Seat Rankings and...

This CJS obsession ******** is getting ******* ridiculous, puc. Talk to me after 4 years when you want to compare the two coaches. Until then at least keep this nonsense to football threads .................. please.

I thought Boggs played pretty good at both ends last night. That go ahead put back was awesome but do agree that he needs to pull the trigger faster at times.

I think the team needs to be, and probably will be by MK, assessed at the end of the season. 65 points was the highest total against this season, and only the second time we allowed over 60 this year. Keep up the defense and hopefully more open shots start going down.
