We're stacking the roster with players, who for the most part, did not do much in the way of contributing to their previous team. We're hoping and praying it's because they weren't given a real chance and all they need to excel is that chance here ..... but it's not a given they will (See MBB, USF).

Yes the portal is open to fans, I was briefly a Memphis fan at the start of the season, but it wasn’t a good fit, so back to the portal I go, may need to drop down to JUCO and get my mind right.

He is in the top 5 of D2 transfers and based on this list he is the #1 D-Lineman. Why is it not a good sign?

In 14 games last year as a sophomore he had 81 tackles, 29 TFL's, 10 sacks, and 6 forced fumbles. If you stuck a D1 dlineman in D2 those are the numbers you'd hope for. I don't think any of our edge rushers from last year could have done that even against D2 competition.

It is an excellent pickup and continues the solidification of our defense. Coach noted today that the biggest improvement he sees so far is from that site of the ball. This defense is going to be plenty effective this season.

So far I feel we are his best offer. Hopefully we lock him down. But i was addressing the dismissal of this guy by Outlaw b/c he is a D2 player.

Here's a useless tidbit you never knew or wanted to know......My sons mom had some Indian (or Native American for those of you keeping score) blood in her ancestry which was connected to Jim Bowie. Better file that you might get asked that when you're on Jeopardy. Ok, tidbit is over.
