McC has taken a lot of hits this season, He was getting up slower and slower. I wondered if this would happen eventually this season and who the backup might be since we hadn't until last week, seen anyone get any time. If he isn't a go then you have to hope our O line performs like they did last game and Marsh or Fortin can get something going early on. ECU isn't Temple, I think they are a better team.

He takes a lot of unnecessary shots. I hope he learns to get out of harms way as his career progresses.

Would rather see Marsh if Timmy can't go. Fortin's proved he's a practice superstar and not a gamer.

I would have zero confidence in getting a win if we have to play Marsh.  He would get sacked a lot.  You can't win games at USF without a running QB.  Fortin, at least, brings some mobility.

Fortin has no pocket presence. He looks like a deer in the headlights out there. Maybe against lesser competition he can do better, but I'm all for seeing what the younger guys can do at this point.

Agreed.  Need pocket presence or there's no point.

Timmy will go!

We need to hit receivers quick! Seems ECU is a blitzing team and we need to keep their LB's flat footed.

Go BULLS !!!

I like Marsh and feel he is a more accurate passer and has better arm. If he gets in the game, we are definitely going to see some bombs thrown that actually connect. McClain is still the man to me, so either way, Im happy.

I would agree with you on going with the younger guys, but let's not forget that Fortin's two starts were against NC State & Florida. Might be a little unfair to completely write him off, being that he started against two of the most difficult opponents we've had this year. If Fortin ends up getting meaningful playing time this year, I wouldn't be that worried about it, especially with the running game working.
