Hate to mention the 'p' word but that's kind of what I've been looking at. I realize all that really matters is the w/l's as far as progress is but looking at SMU, where they left so many points on the field that could have affected the outcome ... Tulsa, where before you can win you have to actually be ahead in a game and they did that but couldn't close it out ... and then Temple, where you were favored for the first time this year and did close it out. Next step is winning when you weren't supposed to like Thursday. May or may not happen but I don't think it's a step back if we don't. This rebuild project isn't happening in one year ..... although that would be nice.

We need to win 4 out of 5 for a bowl game. The Tulsa game was a bad loss. But I think we can beat ECU, Houston, Tulane and UCF. I dont see us beating Cinci, but everybody else is beatable.

Would love to see us heading into the Cincy game on a three game winning streak. The confidence would be soaring for us, and Cincy isn't operating with Alabama/Georgia-type talent. Navy hung in there

Really wish this wasn't a short week for ECU.  An away game on a Thursday night vs anyone it a tough win.  It is the price we pay to get the price they pay.

The only small measure of positive news is that ECU did not get home from Houston (due to weather) until 5:00am on Sunday. But yeah, being the away team on a short week is always difficult.

ECU on a short week on road will be tough but if they manage to win its crazy but I think 6 is possible.
