Personally, I've been proud of the way that USF has conducted itself and hasn't sunk to pimping in the media, social or not, the way most of the schools have. This "campaign" is organic alright ..... like dung. At least Duckhead should be happy.

Well, yeah ... but from their point of view, they're more of a brotherhood than an athletic conference.  You have to protect each other.  Those teams have been in the SEC for years, their states have acclimated to the sharing of in-state resources.  FSU entering the SEC would be huge for the Seminoles but disastrous for the Gators.  

In order for Texas or FSU to join the SEC, the other teams would have to put that aside and make the case that it's better for the conference overall.
