So the original question is still a valid one. How much does a slander of title go for these days? Accounting for rampant inflation?

It’s more likely some distraction tactic just to keep the ACC lawyers overwhelmed, than it is a genuine grievance.

If anything fsu and Clemson should be suing the cfb playoff committee for not respecting or slandering their values after winning a national titles. The who thing is bonkers and unfair for everyone not in the sec or b1g. I find it ironic the other power conferences had no problem making a clean advantage of g5 , but now are upset they are second class citizens in the world of college football. Now g5 programs are third class citizens in terms of conference money. Edited May 3 by Outlaw

The Tigers just signed a monumental NIL deal with FedEx while the Bulls could reignite the War on I4 rivalry with UCF. Certainly, the Big 12 being aggressive in adding potential ACC backup plans is the best way to move the needle in the direction of a Power 3 setup in the event FSU, Clemson, and UNC cause a full-blown exodus from the ACC. So the leftovers of the pac12 and big12 merging together always made the most sense. Are they going to rebrand as the BigPac18, 18pac, or Big18?
