The team is heading  the right direction we just need to hit the portal hard for defensive players along with recruiting. The offense has improved each week we just need to stop starting so slow and not fall behind 3+ tds early. We have 3 very winnable games coming up all in a row and one this week where we could pull off the upset

Portal and JuCo. We historically found some hard-nosed players from the JuCo ranks.

Yes, MK was very optimistic about the program when he scheduled the games. Hopefully, after this round of non-conf this year we will be more formidable next season.no roll over games. 2021,22,23 should be our massive growing years under CJS.....if not???  I expect a bowl game next season. Maybe even this season if we kick it in the ass and get moving/progressing.

And considering the further dilution of the AAC conference with the trio of departures, we'll need to continue scheduling aggressively. Our chances of sniffing the CFP are better when we play the tougher teams . . . and win. I'm hopeful that will happen some day.

true....be interesting if we keep the ucf game? prob clemson is coming? tough to know if any conference will be expanding in near future. maybe just maybe..the aac can leverage itself into the ranks..?might be the path of least resistance..

This.

We should be scheduling like this every year going forward.

Yeah.  Cause that would totally suck if we were always going undefeated and winning conference championships but getting snubbed out of the CFP.  That would be a freaking nice problem to have right now.

I recall this occurring in our Big East days. We've never really been consistent during our conference slate of games. We win the conference and schedule aggressively, then new doors start to open. I see it as a no-brainer.
