We might need to announce movement on this if we want to make the cut for the next Big12 expansion. Will we blow it again?

Maybe. We need leadership from the school president. Who will it be and what will his or her views on this issue be?

We'll find out very soon.  It's too silent right now, so I am assuming we've learned and maybe even gotten feedback to apply to our strategy.

Or a veteran coach realizes when you become independent and fail, the next stage for a program is FCS classification…thus, time to leave.

That was my point. I forgot to use my sarcasm font.

Mr. Kelly, time for you to make a bold move.  Leadership has to step up and pull the trigger.

The $200 million dollar multi-purpose stadium is the result of successful collaboration between the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center Authority, Jefferson County, the City of Birmingham, the Jefferson County Legislative Delegation, and the Birmingham corporate community.

When you're the only game in town it's a lot easier to get the community, et al involved .... and it's not on campus.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way.  Time for USF to get creative and think outside the box or consider getting out of the business of D1 football.
