Everything USF head coach Jeff Scott said following the Bulls' first scrimmage of the preseason.

Sounds like the defense, specifically the defensive line, was the story of practice. That's good considering our oline is actually pretty solid and the dline is the group i was worried about the most.

Really excited to see the improvements in the secondary. By the end of the year we we're down to 2 scholarship corners, now we're infusing a bunch of ready to play P5 transfers.

Yea that is good news on the D line....I'm not that worried about the offense they will be fine.

If this d line can generate some good pressure with an athletic secondary we could see alot of turnovers. 

Good to hear also Mangham power his way Into endzone.  I think he could have a big season in this conference behind a very senior o line.

Excited to see what Glenn Spencer can cook up in a normal year:

FAU the year before Glenn Spencer: 23 sacks, 11 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles
FAU the year of Glenn Spencer: 34 sacks, 22 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles

Idk what other factors went into that but I'm gonna pretend like its just him and be optimistic for this year

It's heart breaking that we as a team couldn't even get double digit in sacks last year. I try to stay positive, but I'm praying that the d-line took their conditioning serious and added the needed speed and muscle for this year.

I am not sure if the guy can coach but he has coach speak down to a science.  A long narrative to tell us the D is a little ahead of the O like we expected during this time of year.  He concerned me by saying at first they were a little ahead of last year at this time but caught his mistake and started putting some significant separation from last years **** show.  I am not going to start drinking the kool aid yet but i am parched and it is starting to look very appealing.
