I don’t think you can really knock Cantu for what he’s doing any way you stretch it he’s hitting 389 over six games. those two are 22% of the line up and they 35% of the hits. This team made a complete change from last weekend. I understand FAMU is not very good, but it was a pleasant change. I just wish the students could see that athletics can be a source of pride for a university without taking away from academics. Our baseball stadium is one of the better ones in the country yet there was nobody there. I get we’re not supposed to be very good this year, but that’s no reason not to go to a game when we play lesser competition. Also, the contract with ESPN+ is a game changer for us out of towners.
