Marsh is the man ... it's just a matter of time until he is the starter unless Cade has something to say about it.   Johnson and McCloud are just keeping the seat warm

If Cade isn’t coming back anytime soon, I’d like to see Marsh get some meaningful minutes.

Actually like to see the other freshman Jordan Smith he had much better passing numbers and Marsh didn't run much in HS it looks like.

If this is considered a rebuilding year, then lets roll with both Marsh and Fortin (when he is available) the rest of the way.  If Marsh is the man, then lets get him valuable experience in a year like this.

Like you said, the other 2 guys arent the answer it doesnt appear.

Everything starts with the QB position.  A highly doubt the answer is on campus

It’s gotta be there but we are not using it.  I know,  mysterious.

What it comes down to is coaches utilizing what they have as opposed to trying to make a player something he is not

If the only options really are McCloud and Johnson, then run an offense they can be successful in

From what I have seen, that is either a run heavy spread offense or some sort of option offense like the classic Veer

I forgot about Jordan Smith.  Haven't seen him yet, but we have seen Marsh.  For what it is worth, Marsh played at American down in Miami.

I don't know if that offense exists ...... unless the other weapons on it are just that good

If Cade isnt what we hope he is then play these freshmen.

We have seen almost a season's worth of games from McCloud and I think he makes a good backup qb.

I haven't seen him take a step up in his game yet.

It's only a matter of time until we see Marsh or Smith named the starter

We dont have to and we never will build a wall around tampa for recruits while in the AAC.

Thats ok we still can get enough good players in the Tampa Bay area to still win the AAC.

If USF can’t afford an OCS, then how will they afford to build a wall around Tampa Bay?
