1. The QB room is bare. Actually need to move McCloud out of the room. Not sure where you can put him, not too athletic or fast. His presence in the room kills any hope of winning.

2. I'm not going to say replace a lot of positions with players from power 5, but at this point its the only option along with juco.

Everything starts with the QB position.  A highly doubt the answer is on campus

Hard to say one of the freshman could be good or Cade.

Holding out that Cade is our guy for this season.

Start by getting the university to competitively fund the athletic department since we are unable to increase revenues enough to compete with the rest of the conference.

I disagree with this - it does not take a ton of money to recruit the 7 county area around USF by car

There is enough talent in the Tampa Bay region to win the AAC every season - Chuckles and his staff were just too lazy to go fight for it

Case in point, Greg Spann, Trevon Riggins, Quinton McCoy and Jerzon Newton are all freshman at Illinois as opposed to USF

Exactly, CJL could recruit well enough to compete so did Slick Willy ......  CCS sucks and all of a sudden the sky is falling ....

Step 1: Hire CJL as head Coach

Step 2: Win!

Again, that is because CCS sucked and we're in the aac.  CWT could get enough talent her to compete in this conference.   We will see if CJS can as well

I agree that CWT recruited better than CCS - Strong was about as lazy as it came. But let's not over romanticize the CWT years - his defenses were not good. In his last year - with HIS guys - we gave up over 31 ppg. Again, QF bailed him alot.

CWT's lack of success without QF in his career leads me to believe he is more hype than substance.

Pretty sure he recruited QF .... pretty sure that much of those non QF years were in P5 conferences ..... you're really working hard to find "facts" to support your trolling ..... but troll on

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
