According to some, Skip destroyed USF football and CWT should get some credit for bring it back to life, not just that "brief success". Ultimately Judy’s betrayal of the Great CJL has left USF football in the mess it is in today

Unfortunately it didn't work and in the end he gets to stay in Florida. I think him and Levitt pretty much wants to ride it out to the sunset. I see Taggart at FAU for at least 4-5 years. I'm sure he is tired of always having to rebuild a team. He might as well ride it out at FAU and pad his coaching stats. with a few conference titles and possible NY6 bowl games. WKU was below .500, Oregon was a one year pit stop and FSU was a money grab that left the program a mess. FSU was a mess that’s why Jimbo left. He knew his time was up. CWT never got set at FSU. He’s proved that he can turn things around, but it takes time. He hasn’t proved that he can sustain or maintain success. I don’t think FSU was his fault. I doubt Norvell will do any better in the next couple seasons

Anyone who wouldn’t have taken the Oregon job from his position if offered would be a fool. Same with FSU. The only ones with regrets should be Oregon and FSU for hiring a guy that clearly had no business getting such high profile jobs. If it wasn’t for Flowers he would have been a failure at USF as well.

The Oregon move made sense to me, he went from 1 to 3 million dollars annually, kind of a no brainer.
