So, while I know I am excited about the upcoming non-conference schedule, we are likely to get our doors blown off. 2007 to 2011 was a long time ago. Well 5 of those years we had quite a bad team...hoping we can turn things around. The one that sticks out was that FSU game at home with Flowers...very disappointing in loss that fell on a bad defense.

More fun numbers but pretty much meaningless for anything this year. We ARE likely to get our doors blown off but it has nothing to do with 9 years of games under 3 different coaches. In all reality, the program more closely resembles a low-level FBS doormat than it does any of the teams from the glory years. We haven't beaten a Top 15 team since 2008 when we beat Kansas, and its going to take a long time to get back to beating quality opponents. I remember all of the misguided optimism heading into the Wisconsin game last year and we gotten beaten like Chris Brown date. Those numbers are a reality check. As much as I hate to say it, you nailed it. The Wisconsin game was a huge let down and flat out embarrassing.
