This will take some effort but lets look historically at all the seasons. Find the best season opener, second game, third game, fourth game, etc. and put together a season to re-watch. Maybe if there are some close losses but were amazing games to watch, they make the list. I'll start. So for the first game, there is only really three choices. 1997 vs Kentucky Wesleyan 2011 vs Notre Dame 2017 vs San Jose St. I would say 2011 vs Notre Dame 2020 Greatest Games Schedule Game 1: 2011 vs Notre Dame Game 2: ?? Auburn, both wins over Top 10 West Virginia, Kansas, win at Miami, win at Florida State, OT win at UCF. These quickly come to mind. While it kicked off a great season, the offense looked disjointed throughout Rather than SJS, I would suggest either: McNeese State in 2006 - Matt Grothe’s debut WCU in 2014 - Marlon Mack’s debut and his 275 yard game I agree KWU is the clear winner either way

Over 330 yards on the ground, almost 550 total is a disjointed look that hopefully CJS can emulate. 25 minutes ago, bowman1 said: McNeese State in 2006 - Matt Grothe’s debut Too soon ... Make game ONE the Game one for the "Lost season of 2020 review". 2 hours ago, Jonesy Bull said: Auburn, both wins over Top 10 West Virginia, Kansas, win at Miami, win at Florida State, OT win at UCF. Will the KW game hold your attention for all four quarters and be enjoyable to watch the whole way? I've watched the game all the way through before but not sure its more exciting the going to South Bend and beating ND.
