With conference only games you can get away with a mid October start and play through what would normally be Bowl season. Come mid August if the outlook is like it currently is(it probably will be) they'll then cancel the season. That makes sense.. The focus needs to shift to getting student back on campus for the Spring semester and hope we can at least salvage part of the basketball season. Any impact on the college basketball season may be a silver lining for Gregory as he won't have to live up to the growing expectations for this season. 10 minutes ago, Brad said: You did great right up until the ending. Meh, that's just part of his current trolling shtick ..... think lob's "__________ will destroy us!" but not as whimsical.

I am not sure what that solves. Conference only games still require travel to other areas right? I mean if AAC did only conference games we would have less games but would travel just as far for our conference games as our non-conference games. Big 10 is probably more geographically close to one another than any other conference.

Guest Jonesy Bull
On 7/8/2020 at 3:36 PM, Friscobull said: It is accurate, it is simply the amount of deaths daily in a linear graph. The deaths in Texas range between 40-60 a day regardless of how high the case counts have gotten. You can compare this to NY where they had 600-800 people die daily at their peak. I realize deaths are a lagging indicator with the case count however the numbers are what they are and it seems highly unlikely any state will reach NY’s death numbers. You are hysterical Jonesy, take it down a level. I think spring football would be a bust if done in a shortened season, cancel the season and maybe we play in the fall of 21. Really you dont think Spring football is better than no football at all? All professional sports are making sacrafices. Shortened baseball season, unusual and very late hockey and BB playoff formats......why cant college sports be flexible and think outside the box as well......of course it would take away from the exceeding excitement of our college baseball team. You are entitled to your opinion but Im fine with it cause it seems highly unlikely it happens in the fall.
