That’s the only one that matters for USF football. There seems to be more and more talk that CFB “could” be moved to spring with only a conference schedule. This absolutely does not represent Florida, Arizona or Texas where things are getting critical. And many more states are on the rise. College Football looks HIGHLY unlikely. Im gaining more momentum towards the Spring idea. Edited July 8, 2020 by Jonesy Bull

Im gaining more momentum towards the Spring idea. If we go spring I think we will be fine. Some seniors at big time programs may go ahead and declare for the draft but that does not apply to us. Spring practice will be cancelled of course but the shift back to fall would be easy. With only conference games to be played the recovery for the players for the following fall should be doable. It is accurate, it is simply the amount of deaths daily in a linear graph. The deaths in Texas range between 40-60 a day regardless of how high the case counts have gotten. You can compare this to NY where they had 600-800 people die daily at their peak. I realize deaths are a lagging indicator with the case count however the numbers are what they are and it seems highly unlikely any state will reach NY’s death numbers. You are hysterical Jonesy, take it down a level. I think spring football would be a bust if done in a shortened season, cancel the season and maybe we play in the fall of 21. If it’s not fall it’s going to be spring (assuming it’s safe to so). No way in hell the conferences leave money on the table.

It’s just logistically difficult to do with this type of virus.
