I like many of you on this board am a DIEHARD. Hell, what I said is completely and totally factual. But that does not take away the fact that I love my alma mater on both the academic and athletic side. But like a family member USF is far from perfect.

I'm a Hans Gruber type.

A lot of things were different relative to college sports 10 years ago.

Ya, like politics, the oligarchy was making a pretense that there were avenues for all teams. Now they don't make the pretense. The same top 10 or so are not letting go of the money or power and the P5 doormats no better than a lot of G5 teams are just happy to get the paycheck and remain the doormats.

Willie left because of Harlen.

Willie left for dollars. Jesus could have been the AD and he was still out the door. I don't blame him one bit, but lets be honest here.

Money and a step up in his career. If there was some miraculous way we could have met, or even got close to, the Oregon money, does he stay? Nope ..... and I wouldn’t have blamed him one bit.

None of us should, he rebuilt the team and left it much better than when he got here, I will always be thankful for that and feel that way about any coach.

Get ready for some RPO’s

As soon as CJS was hired, that was always going to be the case.

I blame him for his stupid slogans, The Team, and the horrible bus video that was born from his slogans.

I also blame him for the turnover purse even though I hate FSU.

Hey, that entertained my grandson for minutes at a time.  May still have it bookmarked.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
