Here's the real question: What kind of venue does a multi-national championship winning coordinator get for his introductory presser?

Conference room at the USF Athletics office (Taggart), MSC Amphitheater (Skip) or the MSC Ballroom (Strong)?

Yuengling Center

I would rather he bring in Scott from UF, or a position coach he trusts at Clemson as his figure head OC then. I don't want Bell's thought process anywhere near offensive game planning

I wasn't a fan either but I don't see it as handing over his offense to him.

Haha, it has been 10 years since CJL, and he is 63 years old. I hope we can finally put this to bed and realize those days are gone.

I find your ageism offensive, it has no place at USF

I’m not a fan of head coaches calling plays. I don’t think many (if any) of the “great” coaches in college or NFL are calling plays. Maybe a few in critical situations, but I believe the HC should delegate.

 memphis coach calls plays. frost did. Malzahn does. Many successful coaches call plays

Would love to see him put on a USF hat as the confetti falls on him after the championship game!

Jeff Scott, you've just won the NCAA championship, where are you going to go?

USF!!

@puc86

So, let me get this straight. He can't or won't get to work here because he's too worried about his former team in the playoffs. Then he decides to keep the OC from the previous regime to what? Salvage the class he is unable to be here for? I'm not a huge fan of how this is starting.

I would much rather have a coach who isn't used to having the best players in the country.  He is in for a rude awakening.  Hope he has a plan and wins a lot of games though.

How Clemson got built under dabo was their ability to turn 3 star athletes into NFL players.

All the greats called plays when the first start as a HC. Urban Meyer on offense,  Nick Satan on Defense,  etc., etc. Eventually they let go of the reins, but to start HCs call plays
