Every time our job opens up Bisaccia's name comes up. Why? Does he really want THIS job that much. Three times over the last 10 years. And I don't think he has ever spent a day coaching college.  Really weird to me.

I don't think MK will discuss any potential  candidates at today's presser ,why would he?

Yeah, no. We need a person that can connect with the young men. Not an old dude with no experience in the sand box.

Dan Campbell or Darren Rizzi if we go NFL...

I like the Kendall Briles or the OC from LSU, unless he brings a pro-style here. The co-offensive coordinator from Clemson is interesting but I'm also bullish on Lane and Willie.... We have some good options gents...

Every time the USF job opens up his name is floated out there. He obviously has some supporters in Tampa that put his name out at every opportunity. He's as old as Charlie Strong and has never been an OC or a DC. 

I doubt this is coming from USF people. 

He's probably a nice guy but I hope we don't go the old guy/retire here route.

I'm pretty sure Bisaccia's name is never, EVER parroted anywhere else but the USF job.  He's a special teams coach - a decent one, but that's a far cry from even a OC/DC job at a D1 school.  

Whoever keeps dropping his name needs to just stop.

The press statement that was released yesterday said specifically he won't mention any names until the next coach is announced.

 

"We are now engaged in a national search to identify the next head coach of USF football. Be assured that process will be deliberate and will move with necessary speed. I will have no public comment regarding candidates or the progress of the search until it is complete and we introduce the new leader of our program."

And Lane is incredibly wishful thinking. Not gonna happen.

I think Dan Campbell would relate well with recruits and student athletes. Rizzi is pure fire but his HC record is dog ****, so I'll give you that...
