Fair enough that you like him much more is actually a big positive in my book, I just need something a bit more sexy that I can point to as proof positive that we are righting the ship in order for me to get a bit more excited

Me too. He can start small by dumping his volleyball coach as soon as that season ends on Nov. 22. That would be one sign that he has higher expectations for the entire department.

Wow Im agreeing with Puc again.  Has the world turned on its axis and Im not aware.

Again at this point i believe that Kelly is the man for the job.  If he fuks up this off season then Im likely to change my mind.  But i dont think that will happen.

Puc for your sake, glad u are better looking then that dude.  He looks like somebody from the hills of Appalacia.

I’m purposely outlandish and inflammatory in some of my takes but the core of my message is actually more realistic and reasonable than most, I can understand people not agreeing with me but I really don’t understand how they can act like they have no idea where my opinion comes from.

Again, give him time. Firing a head coach mid season ala FSU is an outlier.

Agreed but also giving CCS a $2.5 million retention bonus is pretty uncontainable, he is in a tough spot, I’m not sure that there is a great solution to be had but I am a firm believer that fortune favors the bold and the more time you waste waiting on the right opportunities the less positive opportunities will be afforded to you. He is probably in a winless situation and it’s probably not his fault and he is probably going to be punished for decision he didn’t make but he has to do something and he has to go down swinging.

Didn't he already start by going a different direction with Track & Field?

Yes. And Courtney Draper should be next. Eight years is more than enough to build something.

See he is making changes when it calls for it. He is not going to just sit back and do nothing but he has to do his due diligence and the timing has to be right.

That said he will be ultimately be judged by the replacements he brings in and the success level that they have.

I am more comfortabe with him in charge then past ADs.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
