Offensive records were obliterated.  Points were scored.  Fun was had.  UCF was being routed.

Willie bolted WKU, USF, and Oregon before the bowl games that he got them to. I really don't see it as that big a deal that he didn't stick around to maybe win any of those. Plus, how many people on this board have called these bowl games meaningless anyway? I seem to recall them saying that about UCF beating Auburn. Skip and Charlie have won championships elsewhere, but nobody has won one here. Taggart has exactly as many championships as CJL as a Head Coach.

Which tells me all I need to know about USF football....we have NEVER had a great coach.

How happy Oregon fans must be that Willie spurned there 5 year $20 million contract extension back in 2017. They probably feel like they dodged a bullet on that one.

And i do like Mario Cristobal as a coach. I'd never have thought he'd be at Oregon, but he really did well after his FIU stint by working with Saban and co for a bit. He's a coach I would've liked to see given a shot here back in the day.
