It doesn't matter who the QB is, the line can't block. At least get run over slowly.

Absolutely no reason Blake should see the field barring injury or mop up time.

We suck. Might as well see what the freshman has and get him experience.

I thought JM looked fine early on ( the picks were good decisions but poor execution he can learn from) until he finally got shell shocked getting the **** knocked out of him so often.

One thing I've noticed down thru the years with USF football is that I find myself often marveling at the way other teams' wr's do a great job of helping their qb out with contested catches while I hardly ever can say that about ours. Today was no exception.

Our WR are terrible...most overrated aspect of this team.

We agree on this, my friend.  My son and I had this discussion while watching the game on TV.  WR group is biggest letdown.  Not to blame that group because there are a handful of others that are below average.

Your last point is also correct. There are so many problems on so many levels it is difficult to single out one as the main problem

I'm amazed at how bad this line is. SMU was just running through them like they were non-existent. McCloud never had a chance. UConn could very well be our only FBS victory this season.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
