I expected this to be your argument, but it looks so sad to read it on the screen.

People usually strive to meet expectations

Your point is relative to recruiting but there are so many doing it on a team...I am sure KB knows full well what he needs on the line.

I’m sure he knows what he needs, what I am not sure of is if he can get it.

That’s been true for every USF assistant coach in our history

And that’s why it typically takes years of heartache as we continue to force our team to be something it’s not only to then give up and go back to the only stuff that works. Most of our QBs could be amazing if they had a pocket they could stay in and let the play develop we need to run like hell, throw bubble screens and develop things quickly and hope that gets people out of our backfield long enough that we can occasionally have a few deeper balls.

So watching Navy and Memphis and I was wondering how Bulls fan would feel if we switched to the triple option.  It would take a couple of years to recruit right type of OL, however, there are lots of athletes in Florida.  Ga Tech has won in the ACC with the triple option.  Food for thought.

I’ve advocated it a few times, I think we would have more consistent success and would be able to recruit a line that could support it but I don’t think our fans would appreciate it as the offense isn’t sexy enough.

I don’t know scoring lots of points is kind of sexy to me

Our fans seem to dig the long ball.

Its an intersting concept.

Would the good people, meaning South Florida fans be willing to wait 2 to 3 years?

As it is Folks cant wait 7 days for massive success!

I think converting to triple option wouldn’t take 3 years to implement at all and would argue we are better suited to make that move than we are to most offenses and that converting to triple option wouldn’t be as hard as converting away from it.
