So how many transfers will have a chance to play this year on defense?  Seems like we added a good number of them.  Depth on the line should be much improved.  I love a offense that is clicking and scoring but I gotta say a defense that is tackling and causing havoc for opposing teams is just as much fun to watch.

This article says he's supposed to be joining the team when camp starts next week, nothing about on campus now ... maybe more  BREAKING news elsewhere?

I think Burnett is the most likely to start, Studstill  and Sails  (if eligible) should see significant time  in the secondary as well  and both Slade and Jones should be part of the 2 deep on the line.   i never really bank on any of these transfers until they are on campus and enrolled. CCS did an old fashioned cleansing, hope it works.

Most of these guys have been on campus for the past month.  

Juco transfers who are immediately eligible:

MacArthur Burnett (played in the spring)

Tyrik Jones (been on campus since the beginning of summer)

Ryan Thaxton ( will arrive when camp starts)

Grad Transfers who are immediately eligible: (these guys have been on campus for almost the past month working out)

Patrick Macon

Darius Slade

Devin Studstill

Players who have to appeal for immediate eligibility(likely to be approved) :

KJ Sails  (has been with team for the past month working out)

Well maybe USF will strike it lucky with another JUCO transfer from Fort Scott CC. I think JPP and Jaquain Williams turned out okay. Especially from the perspective of a Giants Fans.

Great point, not sure what to make of that, if that is the best he can do in Juco,  he may make a special teams tackle this year or at least an assisted one.   He does look the part, however so did Polk and Bayes, I won’t hold my breath.
