If you say allergies, I don't believe in them.

That would be one reason some people would abstain even if it’s psychosomatic.

Who knows that?  Bama won't give them a 1 for 1, but Bama will play UCF.  Same as Florida would.  You sound a little more gold than green with your analysis.  When UCF comes down off their little G5 horse, there will be a lot of teams they can play.  But right now, their ass is between a rusty stadium and a hard place.

What I meant is that they would not play UCF @ UCF, therefore they won't play them.  I don't see them backing off their stance of playing games at home.

One day, for fun, we can put together a list of the many varied ways in which Tinmen attempt to enter.  Of course the best way is the direct, grown-up way that @footnfan1 has chosen.

Pretty sure I've been here long enough to not have that be true.  That would be the slowest burn ever, not my style anyway.  I just am a little more pragmatic and less homerish than the typical message board fan.

Nothing says fanatic quite like pragmatic.

You are a definite fanatic, that's why you'd never be accused of being a pragmatist.  I'm not a fanatic in the way that you are, at least about football.  HOOPS all day!

What Times mention about panhandle fans is not the first thing stated in article or what would have been a key takeaway, but what can you expect from them?

Recommend to read.  The Alabama AD shows a graciousness that some locals could learn from.

It's a decent article, from MB no less ..... don't get hung up on ******* Tweets that the vast majority of the readers of the article probably won't see.

I can certainly vouch for that.  I was stationed at Fort Walton Beach and the whole Western Panhandle is called Lower Alabama.  I believe Alabama tried to buy that part of Florida's Panhandle at one point.

So the panhandle of Florida has family trees that go in a straight line?

Down by the Black River, on a quiet night, you can hear the banjo music and an odd sound like a man squealing like a pig
