If and when we get an OCS you can kiss series like this goodbye. We won't be able to afford the type of stadium we are looking at building without hosting 7 homes games a year. That will eliminate the ability to do the 2-for-1's required to make the series against the Alabama's and Florida's of the world work.

We can keep RJS as an option for games like this. Cincy does it. 

Kelly's next big job is to sell the local billionaires on usf athletics. There are 5 or 6 locally. 25M from each of them builds the OCS.

This old timer would rather play the big boys getting them at home provides validation as well even in a 2 for 1.  It was nice playing Kentucky Wesleyan and Liberty at the time but having the Tide come to Tampa shows how far the program has come and I can’t help that every time i see this that I thank our inaugural coach and the 75k salary he made working out of the 3 trailers, god bless Jim and sorry for the way you were treated.

Might as well utilize a big time NFL stadium to our advantage.  Seems like a brilliant move by Kelly.

If this helps us down the line get to bigger and better places....build the OCS then.  

Sounds like as good a plan as any.
