I bid on a couple of items for violation and giggles, but don't think for a second that I will be the winning bid.

I took a few hacks at the suite for the Wisconsin game.  May come back for more.  Have to check the piggy bank.

As many have heard before, at the 2006 auction, I (my wife) won the suite for the 2007 USF/WVU game.  No need for a bucket list after that.

Greatest night ever.   So many TBPers just having a blast as we beat the Mountaineers!  What memories.  It's a different era and feeling - that game was sold out with USF FANS.  It might not be the same for the UW game, but I'll **** sure try to make it that way.

We won a trip with the football team to Cinci a few years back.  Believe it was at the golf tournament at that time.  It was one of the most fun, enlightening things we've done.  To see all the work that does on behind the scenes is fascinating.  It was a 7pm start and remember seeing Jim Louk and the radio people leaving the hotel at noon to prep.  On the flight home he was one of the few not trying to sleep as he had to make notes to summarize the game that just ended plus research the next team for his radio show.  All the marketing people were busy with prepping tweets to go out at certain times.  Taking the bus ride from the airport to the stadium for a look around and then to the hotel all with a police escort was so freaking cool.  Seeing how much some of the players eat while on the plane, both coming and going, was amazing. Didn't think we'd ever bid on it again but the Mrs said to go for it.

Love Jim Louke. He makes a few mistakes when announcing games but he is a USF institution as far as I am concerned.

Any idea what they will prob go for? I may be able to do $1500, but not sure my wife will be okay with going higher than that.

I won a season ticket drive contest many years ago and got to go on the team's plane to Cincy.  Because it was a bad game for us, the highlight for my son was definitely the police escorts and being with the players on the bus and plane (and the gargantuan meals).

Interesting discussion.  The auction, prior to being killed by our last AD, has always been one of the Athletics Departments best events.   I have always had a great time and gotten any number of neat items at the auction over the years including: Golfing with Jim Leavitt and Lee Roy Selmon; a suite for Southern Miss win at home and several suites for the Rays.

But perhaps the most interesting was a trip to our first game at UConn before being conference foes when they played on campus in Storrs.   As a bonus we took a behind-the scenes-tour to ESPN studios and went on-stage with Trey Wingo.   The next day the game was played in the teeth of a Nor'easter's winds.  Bill Grammatica attempted a field goal into that wind and the ball actually backed up when it hit its highest trajectory.  Still, we took advantage when the wind was at our backs and we won 21-13.

Look forward to seeing all the Bulls' supporters at the rebirth of this great event.
