I'm amazed that I wasn't that upset about this loss.  I really thought we were the better team just made some young mistakes with some lazy passes (I know Q is a junior)  Next year that won't happen.   Next year will be special.  We have 3 guys right now that have a chance to play in the league after there 4 years here in Yeatna, Collins and Durr

I had the same thoughts.  I could only imagine the meltdown USF fans would have had if that foul with .8 seconds left that sent Collins to the line was called against us if the roles were reversed.  Three guys going for the ball and the ref calls a foul.  Wow.

The second .8 seconds call was an obvious make up call for the Collins phantom foul. That game should have gone to a second OT. Period.

This is a young team learning and playing their asses off.  I was shocked to see DC miss two, but I also AGAIN saw them battle back a couple times.  I'm feeling alright.

This is really it in the overall scheme of things. All the overanalyzing is fun, and what message boards are for, but the majority of this team is still learning to compete at this level and hopefully in the future they find the way to win the majority of these close games ...... I too was shocked to see DC miss both of them. He's been doing a good job of making needed late game ft's although never one with what was on the line yesterday.

I don't know if winding the clock down is part of the strategy???  You would think you'd look for your first open shot but we seem to pass them up only to wind up throwing up prayers as the clock winds down.

They probably want to limit offensive possessions for the opposing team as much as possible with is being a young team and hit or miss from the field

That is sure what it appears to be.  I just don't agree with passing up clean looks just to wind the clock and settle for a poor shot. Not sure that helps your shooting percentage.

I agree, you think it's a confidence thing or just looking for the "perfect" shot or do you really think CBG is telling them to hold the ball?

I've got no idea.  Next time in the Hardwood Club maybe I'll ask if I can remember.  Not sure how many more games we're going to make this year on the men's side.

The game was lost when we have 3 straight turnovers with a 10 point lead and gave Temple 6 free points. This game was tough to swallow. We should have absolutely won this one, that being said we should have also lost to SMU. Many times these things even out.

The missed free throws have cost this team atleast 3 games this year, we must get better in that aspect of the game.
