In all fairness he had more than 4 plays. We saw them. He just rarely called them and almost never in the red-zone.

I just wonder what type of learning curve Bell will have facing G5 and P5 defensive coordinators.

For now I'm guardedly optimistic. I think I'll be excited when I see that our OL is sufficient for this offense. Just like Gilbert's offense, Bell's takes time to unfold for most passing plays. If the OL hasn't improved much by week 1 2019, we're going to have similar issues as 2018. I am looking forward to seeing what this looks like, and I'm glad Gilbert won't be running the offense anymore. If the o line doesn't provide enough time for the pass play to develop, CKB lets the QB run. The QB Wells ran for over 800 yards this year and was the second leading rusher on the team. Can Blake run? I know Jordan can.

He's got decent straight line speed but he's probably not running for 800yds in a season. Battles, McCloud, and Evans (if he stays at QB) can all run.
