those early years were awesome - we had much different discussions but the fan factor was something I am glad I was part of--- great times indeed.

oh-- and as far as that whole OCS thing goes-- tune in to the Missouri Arkansas game if you get a chance---- and just look at those mostly empty stands at their on campus facility in Mizzou. That team is 7-4 and yeah-- it is miserable weather on a Thanksgiving weekend -- but still-- where is the fan support?

my point is that there is so much more involved in attendance than simply being near the school. If it takes us another 20 years to see an OCS built, so be it. It will not impact anything  that matters other than a handful of people who want to have the "full college experience".

Oh not at all. I remember the early games fondly as well, particularly a home vs TCU we almost stole in '03. We just have different definitions of 'glory', I guess. I understand glory to mean power attention.
