Until I see otherwise CCS is content with this type of offensive play

i believe you are correct and that is why he needs to go.  2.5 million salary next year?  my 25 year old son could do a heck of a better job and would be content 1/10 of that sum!

I am sure he isnt happy with the execution but when you run up the middle most of the game what do you expect to happen we are doing about as good as can be with that style of play...its amazing the running game is as good as it is considering other teams know we are running up the middle most of the game.

Gilbert had a high scoring offense with his former team as a OC Eastern Illinois.. I think the blame is maybe going on Gilbert when it should be on CCS

He had an nfl QB in Jimmy G and Dino Babers as a HC. He was the muppet

Any of us could do the same thing Ccs and Gilbert are doing. Run the ball striaght ahead 50 times a game, then 30 or so short passes to the sidelines. No way that’s worth the money we are paying them.

up the middle, up the middle, up the middle punt and repeat.  Our oc is a joke and a can't understand why an employer would pay him for that crap.  definition of insanity- doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

That’s not true. We now have 2 variations.

Up the middle, up the middle, deep pass down the sideline, punt.

Pass to the far hash, Pass to the other far hash, up the middle, up the middle. Turnover on downs.

37 yards passing in the 2nd half won’t win many games unless u run for nearly 500. Only team that can win like is is navy and even they aren’t doing well this year

This. Gilbert was a product of those around him. He doesn't possess the skills to be an OC and I question his ability to develop QBs. Barnett has regressed and Q regressed under him too as a passer. Q was great at the pop pass up the seam under King. Gilbert came in and took over and Q became inconsistent at it and his deepball too after Gilbert tinkered with his delivery. Also he didn't help either out with playcalling the difference is Q was a magician who can adlib and make his own breaks while Barnett just isn't that guy (but who is besides Q).

I still believe q called his own plays after he got fed up with Gilbert’s playcalling especially in the Black Friday game last year
