Is Brohm not a high character guy? I can see Charlie being considered, especially because UL athletics is trying to clean up its image, but this 6 game losing streak we're about to witness will cap any value Strong had coming into the season.

Brohm is going to be hired by Ville...it’s his alma mater.

My take is that Strong deserves another year...things I would like to see if he really cares about the program in moving forward is does he go another direction on offense and defense.  If so and he brings in high energy, good up and coming coaches I think it will look like a great move and  the team improves. 

Now if he doesn't want to bring in a new OC and DC I hope somebody hires him away it will be I think a blessing as I dont see this team making huge strides next year with the exact same coaches if they are going to be doing the exact same things.

Actually I take this back - just read something about how Strong was allegedly involved in some "extra-curricular" activities with a UL boosters wife? Sheeeeesh. No chance they hire him back.

For Louisville to hire brohm they would have to pay roughly $30-35 million just in the 1st season for a coach that is barely .500 at Purdue. Can Louisville afford that. They already are paying Petrine $13 million and if they hire brohm they’d have to pay Purdue $4.4 million plus at least another $4 million to brohm for the 1st year. Then they would have to pay for assistants which probably would be somewhere around $10 million total for all the assistants together.
