How many times can you turn the ball over 3 times, miss a FG inside 40 yards, allow the opponent to rush for over 300 yards and end up with a win?

Also..

During the game last night the a announcers kept stating how many freshmen UConn was playing this year. USF is playing quite a few true and redshirt freshmen and USF is 7-0.

UConn also had two weeks to prepare for us. Played more conservative than they had any other game. It seems most teams like to run the clock on us and not pass very often.

Teams like to do what is successful.  USF has a solid secondary... and  a suspect front seven.

On one of U Conn's scoring drives they ran the ball on every play except one... why? Because they could do so with relatively little impunity.

Until USF learns how to stop the run... USF will not be able to blow out any team.

Second week in a row we have played a team coming off a bye.

I will take that egg on the other side of that 7 any day. Don't get me wrong. There were a lot of things to be disappointed about last night, but obviously there were more things to be excited about since we got the W.

Actually the list of things to be disappointed with is much larger than than the other side of the ledger.  But the 'W' trumps all.

We did't get blown out by an unranked team! We are 7-0! Go Bulls!

I’m hoping we can win 2 of the last 5.  We finish 9-3 go bowling and gear up for a big run next year.  After everyone we lost last year, 9-3 would be a great transition year.

Fortunately, next week we play a team coming off a Navy cut blocking day. I wonder if that will change our fortunes.
