Can’t wait to see him when he is at 100%. Right now he is playing with no burst.

Cronkrite is on the field and he is doing really well. If Bell is slow in recovering then I hope Cronkrite takes advantage of it and becomes ( if he is not already) the primary back.

I know he isn't 100% so missing some burst, but he clearly has good vision.  I was impressed.

Bell should be ready for the next game.  I'm not saying he's better than Cronk... just more explosive and he's the fasted RB we've had in a really long time.  Most don't know Bell is even a track guy, but he's run 10.4 in the 100 and his 200 times were pretty fast.  He's a guy who could have just as easily been on a track scholarship.  He's a great change of pace guy right now because his body isn't built to carry the ball 15 times a game right now.  But in a year or two, that kid will be a dynamo!  

 

Cronkrite is a guy who an carry the load, catch the ball, block, has break away speed and explosive ability.  He can run for power or he can beat someone to the edge.  He catches the ball... he does it all.  He's our best RB... he was last year when he had to sit.  He's going to put up some numbers over the next few weeks.

Looks like Ford is done for the year as a redshirt but I agree he is going to do well in the future
